Through the microscope... With Pond Water

These three pictures were taken by microscope of local pond water where algae was growing. I don't know exactly what type of organisms they are but I still think their pretty cool. 

Everyone

Guess what!!! We are related. All of us our related, your naighbor, your boss or teacher, everyone. It all has to do with genetics and heredity. If everyone needs to have a mom and a dad to be born, you can trace back your history where everyone has a common relative. Therefor, everyone is related. I guess that since everyone is pretty much family, I should really enforce the golden rule with myself, as cheesey as it is. 

Genome

What is a genome, you ask? Well, a genome is like the instruction manual to your body, it is the reason you have your color eyes, your color hair, how tall you are, everything. If you could actually have the opportunity to read your chromosomes? You could see your chances of cancer, different things you didn't even know about your self.
